As luck always favors the person who has the insight to see things on a long term basis, Coverking’s first attempt in manufacturing vehicle dash covers through the CAD/CAM process brought immense success. The product not only proved far more superior in contrast to the covers made through conventional cut-and-sew method, the output time and cost was reduced remarkably as well. And so the consumer got a better product at a lower cost. The primary success prompted the company to go ahead with the production of custom seat covers (seat covers that are specifically made for each brand of vehicle according to make, model and year of manufacture), custom car covers, floorboard mats and related items also through the same computerized automated system. The result of this innovative production method proved to be so accurate, snug fitting and distinctive that the US auto giant General Motors granted Coverking the right to use the GM logo on all vehicle upholstery products for GM vehicles. This honor was shortly followed by the US Government Quality Certification (QS-9000 and TS-16949) awarded to Coverking in appreciation of their high standard of fabrication and assembly. However, honors and accolades have never blunted the edges that Coverking and their team of dedicated workforce forever hone for better customer satisfaction. Applying the same technology and know-how that had ushered in a revolutionary change, the company continues to grow even today. Coverking is busy trying to improve on what the company presently offers to the clients.
